Submission Deadline: Thursday, May 15, 2008 to submit an abstractAIM AND OBJECTIVES The Eighteenth Annual Meeting of the Association for Chinese Management Educators (ACME) will be held in Toronto, Canada. The conference will serve as important forum for the exchange of ideas and information to promote understanding and cooperation among the various businesses. This year’s conference theme is “Global Supply Chain Efficiency”. Special focuses will be placed on supply chain management, customer relationship management, enterprise resources planning, and the business strategies for global supply chain networks for North America and Asian areas such as China, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Individuals from academic, business and public sectors are invited to submit competitive papers, detailed abstracts, or cases. Proposals are solicited for tutorials and panels to be held together with the conference. Proposals should include a tile, an abstract and a short biography of the author(s). Panel proposals should also include a list of possible panel members. Please email the proposal to myacme2008@gmail.com. Please refer to list below for subject areas for the conference. SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION All competitive submissions must be submitted in MS Word format electronically. All submissions will be blind refereed by independent reviewers. Accepted papers will be published in ACME referred proceedings: ACME Transactions 2008. Outstanding papers will be selected and recommended to be published by the following international academic journals: International Journal of Management Theory and Practices and other journals. By submitting a manual script, the author certifies that it is neither copyrighted nor previously published. In addition, at least one of the authors certifies that he/she will attend the conference to present the paper if it is accepted. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONTRIBUTORS All submissions should be doubled spaced. Each paper should include two title pages. The first one should have the paper title and author information, and the second one should only have the paper title for the blind referee process. Author information should include the following: (1)paper title, (2)author name(s), (3)affiliation(s), (4)address(es), (5)e-mail address(es), and (6) track that best fits the submission. All submissions should be sent electronically and directly to Dr. Huei Lee at myacme2008@gmail.com by May 15, 2008. No hardcopy is acceptable. Notification of acceptance will be mailed by the Program Chair on June 1, 2008. Accepted papers must be typed according to the format defined by the Program Chair and Proceeding Editors. Accepted final draft should be send to Dean Edward H. Chou at acme2008@nccu.edu,tw (and cc to myacme2008@gmail.com) by June 15, 2008.
